The Datsun 220 became the first of its kind to introduce a revolutionary 988cc overhead valve engine. Delivering 34hp, the modern engine was the first to have a 12-volt electrical system and heralded the beginning of global recognition for Nissan. |

The first Datsun pickup offered both Single and Dual Cab styles, the Datsun 620 offered Nissan drivers the flexibility and comfort other pickups couldn't. Coupled with a J15 engine (77hp) yielding a top speed of 135kmh, it continued to build the Nissan reputation for durability and reliability against much larger pickups in the United States. |

Introduced in 1997 with the option of five engine types and the choice of 2WD or 4WD, the Nissan Pickup D22 was bred for strength and diversity. Known today as the Navara D22, this tried and tested pickup can conquer any challenge thrown its way. |
